Precautions in use
1. take out the ECG lead wire, align the convex surface of the plug of the lead wire with the groove of the " ECG" jack on the front panel of the host computer, and insert it.
2. the other end of the ECG line with five electrode heads is connected with the measured human body, and the steps of correct connection are as follows:
A, wipe the five specific positions of human body with the sand sheet on the electrode sheet, and then clean the surface of the measuring part with 75 % ethanol, in order to remove the stratum corneum and sweat on human skin and prevent the electrode sheet from poor contact.
B, buckle the electrode head of the ECG line with the electrodes on the five electrode pads.
C, after ethanol volatilization is clean, paste the five electrode pads on the specific position after cleaning to make them contact reliably and not fall off.
D, clamp the skirt on the lead wire in the bed and fix it. And told the patient and medical staff not to pull the electrode wire and the lead wire.
3, please be sure to connect the ground wire, which will play a very important role in the normal display of the waveform.
Precautions for connecting ground wires
When connecting the ground wire, one end with copper sheet sleeve should be connected to the ground terminal of the back panel of the host computer. ( the method is to unscrew the knob cap of the grounding terminal, sleeve the copper sheet, and then tighten the knob cap ). The other end of the ground wire is provided with a clamp, please clamp it at the common grounding end of the building facilities ( tap water pipes, radiators and other places which are directly connected with the earth ). Do not casually clamp the ground wire on a hospital bed or other metal unrelated to the ground, as if there were no ground wire connected. If there is no ground wire or the ground wire is not properly connected, it may cause larger interference of ECG waveform, and at the same time it may cause harm to the personal safety of the instrument operator.
