The traditional thermometer measurement method is a common form of heat monitoring. This method requires a health care worker to take measurements using a thermometer, which is often time-consuming. The real-time performance of this method is poor, and only the surface temperature can be measured, which can not obtain the deep temperature information which is more valuable for intensive care. What are the temperature measurement methods available for medical monitor? Monitor manufacturer will give you specific explanation.
1. Tympanic thermometer
The temperature of the eardrum can be calculated from the amount of infrared radiation emitted by the eardrum. Studies have shown that there is a definite relationship between the temperature of the eardrum and the temperature of the tympanum in humans, and the temperature of the tympanum is very close to the average temperature of the brain. Therefore, tympanic thermometer can be used for indirect measurement of brain temperature. This measurement method has the advantages of fast, but it is not convenient for continuous monitoring, and requires high positioning accuracy.
2. Insert thermometer
Monitoring If the medical monitor by inserting the thermometer probe directly into the tissue or organ, the deep temperature of the local tissue is measured. This method involves surgically inserting a thermometer probe into the site to be monitored. The accuracy of this measurement method is high, which is invasive and not suitable for the clinical monitoring of critically ill patients. The operation process of this method is complicated, and the time of embedding probe is long, which is not conducive to temperature detection in emergencies, and the insertion of probe has the risk of complications.
3. Near infrared spectroscopy
It has been applied in the research of animal and human body temperature detection. Some researchers measured the optical parameters of animal tissues at different degrees, and finally confirmed that the near infrared absorption spectrum of water can be used to evaluate the temperature of biological tissues. Some researchers monitored the temperature of human brain by near infrared spectroscopy. In the signal processing of medical monitor, the collected ecg signal should be displayed in real time.
If the direct dynamic drawing on the screen, sometimes the data is very large, drawing may take a few seconds or even longer, and there will be flickering phenomenon, to overcome this problem, adopt double buffering drawing technology. Double buffering is to create an object consistent with the screen drawing area in memory, draw the graph to the object in memory first, and then copy the graph on the object to the screen, so that the speed of drawing can be greatly accelerated, but also to achieve dynamic drawing without flicker.
